daym, i've been getting 18-19 the day i got it. and i drive like a maniac lol. there are several things that affect gas mileage. tire pressure, precat 02 sensor, MAF, throttle body, intake filter, gunk in engine. for tire pressure, i run 35 front and 38 rear during cold weather. 02 sensors are easily changeable with a crow foot 02 sensor socket that is available from autozone. it's just like a regular sock but where the ratchet attaches, that is not concentric to the center of the socket, it's tangent. MAF, clean it with MAF cleaner. clean the throttle body with throttle body cleaner. just spray the SOB and let it sit for a few minutes then run the car. also, seafoam can help too.

02 sensor - 70 bux each
throttle body cleaner - 5 bux
MAF sensor cleaner - 5 bux
a can of seafoam - 8 bux

Just the front one. 4 wire in your car. Denso or Bosch brand. For narrowband sensors, I prefer Denso.

At 200+k miles, there's other things that are worn and causing low mileage due to lower HP being made.. like rings and valves. Check them O2's though.
