okay soo i need help!!!

Default okay soo i need help!!!

okay i was leaking power steering fluid and the error code on my dash was is 1n1 and when i start the car i hear a loud whining noise whether im in nuetral or not so i put a new power steering pump on . but the noise is still there seems like it has gotten louder since i put the pump on

Did you get the air out of the system? There could be some in there creating the noise.

The ln1 is just a service interval that needs to be reset. After installing the pump (and I assume you used the correct PS fluid), you need to bleed the system. Step 1 is to turn the wheel from lock to lock a number of times with the car off (easiest if the front of the car is off the ground), then to turn the wheel from lock to lock a number of times when the car is off.

It's proprietary mineral oil based fluid. I bought it (pentosin CH11S) from germanautoparts.com for $10 plus s/h. It'll be more like $14-15 for 1/3 that amount at a dealer.
