Onyx (black) interior fading, what should I do?
I have a whole double din console set up I'm swapping soon. I'm just trying to prep all the pieces because the pieces I bought were definitely used more then the ones in my car.
The center console is pretty faded near the knee area, looks like either the car was always parked with the sun hitting that spot or the driver always had his leg against the console. It doesn't look "terrible" but there is noticable amount of rubbing. The color looks black, but noticeable amounts of grey fade.
I see plenty of black color interior dyes and paints etc.. but I just want one that will match the BEST. Will any black dye from rustoleom, SEM or duplicolor work?
I'm pretty sure the interior color of my car is called onyx, it looks black but you know Audi.
not my picture.
