open injector circuits, possible relay 372 failure?
Hey all,
1999 a4 b5 2.8l showing all 6 injectors have open circuits. After doing some research I was pointed to the fuel pump relay (372). I pulled it and examined it, there was some discoloration on the metal blades that go into the relay box, not a lot of discoloration but it looks like it got hot at one point. The main symptom of the car right now is that it will idle but when you press the gas pedal it dies immediately. It seems like this might be the culprit. Any thoughts? Would this cause the injector open circuit codes to show up? Does this fit with the problem?
Thanks!
