i was actually thinking of painting cars today, id go with either audi nogaro blue, VW candy white, or that really dark grey/black audi has.

 

spray paint it..........

 

doesnt really matter where you go right now. dont know about all paint but a lot of it is petroleum based. so paint prices are high. i just did it myself for about $1000.

 

Dude just slow down and think for a second. (oh and BTW, did you see that <---? That was a period. periods are your FRIENDS) first you're rambling on about blowing your money on a bullshit paint job that WILL crack and chip in a couple months and end up looking worse than it probably already does, then you go off on some kind of HID tangent that makes even less sense than the paint idea. Just take that red hot money out of your pocket for two seconds and put it somewhere where you won't spend it. Jesus...

 

Sell your car and buy an a4 with the color scheme you want. It took me forever to find my perfect audi.

 

oh sooooo sorry for not usinga period. im still in highschool and the only time i actually write properly is on paper, but when typing it's so much easier to not type it. So the verdict is though i'm just not going to paint it and instead i ordered another set of hids for my fog lights

 

Yup, to do it right you'll spend more than its worth. Maaco's prep work is a joke, they're not through enough to make it right. You'd be lucky if they even touched some sand paper to it before they spray it.

 

just a word for the wise. Macco must be sanded. my friend just got it done, i saw it before and after sanding and its really not that bad. so if you wanna save some money, and dont mind spending a day sanding your car id say do it. me on the other hand, just got a job at a body shop instead so i get the ill hook up.
