Default Parking Brake Light problem..pt.2. Took apart the console to see the switch & wiring.

and replaced the switch for good measure. Well that didn't do any good. The damned light still does not come on. The wires do not appear to be cut. The bulb works at start-up. Where else should I look? At the instrument cluster wiring?

would have been better to include this in your first thread, rather than starting a new one. Makes it easier for people who might search for this later to find what they're looking for. not a huge deal, just for future reference.

Yes. I know the bulb is working because it lights up at startup. But when the parking brake is set...nada. The switch has just been replaced. Is there a wire or circuit I should check. As I have stated, the circuit is a simple one. It either grounds the bulb or not.
