Passenger heated seat.

Question Passenger heated seat.

the passenger heated seat in my 99 doesn't work anymone, driver side works just fine, fuse is not blown. anyone have any ideas. and i know that i don't have to sit there but i just wish it would work, i don't like when things that i have don't work.

its the heating element that is bad, i have the same problem.

what would make that go bad all of a sudden? and is it replaceable?

im not sure what makes them go out. mine went out in different sections, first the middle then the sides. they are replacable, but i have no idea where to get them, how much they are or how bad of an install they are. anyone want to chime in here?

yeah definately some one out there has to know whats up with this. its going to bother me that it doesn't work now.

yeah my girlfriend really wants me to fix mine cause its getting cold and my butt is super toasty and hers isnt. hahaha

Ive taken some of the upholstery off of my seat to look at the heating elements when mine was broken. But my problem was that the seat was getting too hot. You could try to do the same thing to inspect the condition of your heating wires but I am not sure that if it will help or not.

If you or anyone else knelt on the seat, you could've damaged the element. FWIW, if any of you need a heated black leather airbag passenger seat, I happen to have an extra one (sans headrest) in my garage...

idk i don't think since i've owned the car anyone has kneeled on it, idk about taking off upholserty i guess its just going to have to not work. i'd love your seat, to bad i have the tan interior.
