Default PCV/SAI/EGR Delete

So I got my EGR delete plate (thanks Mike!!!) and removed my EGR and installed the block plate. I removed the plate under the intake manifold that has the 249 and looped the vacuum lines under there. From that point, I am a little lost as to which lines I can remove. I have done my research and found a DIY for a b6 and for a 200 b5 but I some things still look confusing and I don't wanna fvck anything up. Anybody done one of these deletes and can throw me a pic or two? Thanks as always!

Thought I would add pics to help me ask my questions better.Where do I attach this hose. Is snakes up to the back on the head by the firewall and is the bottom hose that the "y" pipe in the back on the head hooks up to. I read that I can just vent this to the atmosphere, is this correct?Name: hose12.jpg

How much of a hassle was this? How much was the plate? Wish I could offer some help but I'm still learning about the 1.8T lol

i just did this not too long ago, took me 6 damn hours haha, that part circled is you crank case breather, simply vent to atmosphere, or into a catch can if youd like. mines vented. now, on your intake manifold, you should have 5 vacuum hook-ups. 2 small, 2 medium, and one large, for the brake booster. i started by removing every vacuum line, then redid it my own way. i ran a 1/2" heater hose from the big one to my booster using one of the stock check valves, you only want sucking to the booster, not boosting. then you need a small line going to your fuel pressure regulator, and a boost guage if applicable. and the last small one going to your DV. the 2 medium ones can be blocked off, the n249 and n211 or whatever can be completely removed, seeing as the 249 is to control your DV using vacuum stored in your vacuum resevoir, and the 211 is for pcv. you will notice a slight delay in your dv releasing now because the vacuum has to be applied first now, as where before vacuum was stored and released when you let off the gas. your vac resevoir is stored in your driver side front fender, you can remove it if you like, and remove the 2 vacuum lines in your engine bay that led to it. i personally like a clean looking engine bay, so i put my stock inlet pipe upside down where the SAI pump used to be, and is now a cold air intake

edit: i just watched your video now, the two lines that you first point to go to your resevoir, useless. remove it all haha.

Thank you soo much!!! One last question I forgot to ask about. In this pic, the thing I have circled in red. 1. I don't know what it is and 2. It had a line running to it which I disconnected because it was mixed in with all the pcv/egr/sai **** I removed. What do I do with that? It has a sensor running to it...should I vent it to atmosphere as well? Cap it?

i have NO idea what the hell that is man haha. mines a 2000, they must have added that in for some reason. if it was connected to your pcv system, then its useless. just leave it plugged in, along with all the other sensors if you dont want a CEL. i personally dont have a cat, so i just ripped them out since mines on anyway.

edit: actually, i have seen things about a leak detection pump. mine doesnt have it, but that looks like it could be it. mine had a part that looked similar, but it was on the intake side.
