Default Periodic popping sound when taking hard rights

Just noticed this yesterday. Took a hard right turn last night into my parking lot and noticed a periodic "popping" sound when I was pulling in. Could feel it dragging a little as it was making the noise. Drives fine besides this. Anyone have any ideas before I bring it to the shop?

Cv is probably crapped out. Mine did the same and this is what I found

Its been 2 months and im still driving with it like that. Just don't accelerate while turning from less than 10 mph, and it will hold up

Thanks hiwords and Keegan. I don't know much about cars, but I should be able to spot the CV fairly easily by just removing my wheel, correct?

You dont even have to remove it. Start your car, and turn your wheel all the way to the right, then turn it off. Look in the crack and see if its torn. Also stick your hand back there, if its covered in grease. its torn. Im uploading a youtube video to show you

Edit: In a bit search for "Checking audi b5 a4 CV boots" by keeganxw, I might be at work by the time its done so until I get home and embed it, thats the best ive got
