"Popping" Sound at sharp turns/hard brakes

"Popping" Sound at sharp turns/hard brakes
I have a 2004 a4 sport and when i turn sharply, or brake quickly, i always hear a popping noise coming from the front "under" the car.
Any ideas on what this could be?
