Default PITA Coilpack harness?

I have been doing alot of research on here and google. Seems like everyone says its a big PITA to replace the wiring harness for the coilpacks because the harness is for the entire car. I am in need of replacing mine because one of the cp is so messed up that i had to tape it. Has anyone on here replace maybe just the cp harness alone and not do the rest? I've been looking around for the harness but having trouble, does anyone have a part #?

Edit: I just found this on a different forum and was wondering would this work? If so does anyone know if there is something similar for our cars. I just checked that same site and some others and they dont even have it =\

looks like the right part...if you can't fix the wires yourself, that looks like the right part......or try this link I just looked up for you and scroll down...

THose are 4 pin plugs, the ndbw 1.8t has 3 pin plugs for the coil packs.

If your just having a problem with a few of the coil pack harness plugs, why not just buy the plugs/wires from the dealer? Another option would be to do the ICM delete and change to 4 pin harness plugs and the newer coils.

Thanks for looking up the site for me.. seems like i can buy those connectors and connect it to my harness. I dont know how im going to connect those to the plug itself, seems like it will require some soldering

thanks for the suggestion I didn't think that the dealership would carry individual plug/wire. Everywhere I looked they sell only the whole harness for the car. I'll give them a call before I go. As for the 2nd option I would go that route, but I just changed my coils yesterday maybe somewhere down the line I will if I run into this problem again with my other ones
