Default PLEASE Stuck At This Damn Knuckle..... lol

Ordered Hub and Bearing (as in the Picture posted) Bought 10 new lugs that gotta take back there to short. But Need to know How to get this knuckle out of the way so i can get the Hub and get the bearing Pressed for guy down the road 15$ not to bad huh. I have got to get this peice out so i can put it all back together. IF i cant do this bought HEliCoil on the way and other bolts as well to re thread bigger in hole or two on the existing hub, im hopeing this isnt a bad hazard in any way to do this though. Please any feed back on how to get this Knuckle out or video or DIY article. Everything i searched for was either not exactly right with my model or just not matching up with how hard it really is to get this out.
Also Any link or tips on How to hook my aftermarket pioneer head unit to my Stock Bose 200W (i belive was spec) Amp. ?Hopeing i can hook it up to my speakers i have replaced in the back behind back seats to power them or either the doors. Any ideas on how to do that if way with the metra Wireing harness would be super awsome as well. Hope itll make it sound way better. Also have phenix gold tweeters but there already screaming enough for the moment. Let me know what yall think. It seems as it would amp up great. Thank you so much Everyone.

Also The peice by the Mass air spray little bulb peice called vacuum check valve i couldnt find anywhere around (cept online of corse) so i got for the moment the connectors to just bypass it. Anyone know what these check valves actually do or if it will hurt to run without for bit untill ordering it ??

Thank you so much! (Btw Teddy in the pic Said Whats up All Homies Thanks for the Help as well) Ha HA

Do i Need anything else other then the 70-1787 metra harness the 2nd peice to wire the stock amp up to the aftermarket head unit to amp either the rear speakers or the front doors up? I also have another little amp set up with that little old speaker shown. How would i wire this.
Also what is that other connector next to the stock amp harness is that my power antenna wire j/w cause i cant get reception at all.

Thank you so much.

On the hub question, since you have the bolt out of the axel all you have to do is remove the top control arms, the tie rod and the lower control arms. It will fall right off. Problem is, the tie rod and the pinch bolt that hold the upper arms in place are legendary on this car. They can rust on so bad that some guys have given up and gone out and bought a used knuckle. Search for control arm DIY's, there are lot of them out there, both on Audi forums and Passat forums.

Good luck.

If you're just removing the upright to press in new bearings, just unbolt the upper control arms at the bushings rather than deal with the pinch bolt. If you're trying to replace the upper control arms because the bushings/ball joints are shot, heat the bolt up until it's cherry red and then quench it in water. A few taps with the hammer and it will slide out.

I just wanna Put this New Hub In The Other is Stripped the previous owner had these stock bolts that werent long enough and messed the hub up. I got a got to press the bearing in for 15 bucks up the street but just need the old hub out so i can go out with the old in with the NEw ****. ha ha Thanks everyone so far for the help.

I hate it just put in new spark plugs that were wayyy overdue sad to say. New Filter, got new bearings about 40$ in the wrong 10 bolts. New Hub just cant get to the hub.
I also want to connect the stock amp up with the back speakers that i replaced with new ones. Anyways still kinda stuck dont want to heat up and mess other things up. idk.

Just unbolt the upper control arms at the other end. If you look up at the spring hat, you'll see the two bolts that hold the upper control arms.
