Wow this is weird cause today when i started up my car it had a rough idle until i turned it off twice and started to drive and then it was fine. But lately its been idling above a grand about 1100 but then will drop down to normal? Im with you on this one mikey no CEL. its friggin weird! but when i drive it feels pretty much fine. Any ideas guys?

Dang buddy... I wish I knew as much about these cars as I do with my Camaro. What might also really help if if you could get a AFR reading on the engine, too. Also, you're sure your fuel lines are good? In addition to these, what about your rough idle? Does it change when the car is at op. temp? See, in my z28 I would immediately be checking the vacuum hoses (already done), the coils, plugs, and wires (you might even try replacing those, although it will be $130, prolly).

Actually the coilpacks are around 80 from ECS for AWM engine. If this was my Camaro I probably would know what the hell I was doing. One down side of making the switch from only ever owning GM to import.

If you're misfiring, limit your driving to absolutely essential travel, which right now is from wherever your car is parked to the nearest place to get your codes read (Autozone or what not). Your misfire is dumping unburnt fuel into your cat which will in turn mess it all up.

Once you get your codes read, post them and see what we can find.
