Default possible suspenion issue/question for the gurus......please HELP!!!

Im going to list any and as much detail as possible to this problem/issue....

Start it off by being a 01 a4 quattro w/2.8 and auto/tip. Has roughly 180k on the ticker. Car has been well maintained.

Now here i go. Started off about 2weeks ago i noticed a slight vibration coming from right rear wheel. Over the course of a few days it got louder and more violent so to say. Checked rear tire and while inside tread was gone. Was worn due to camber. Yet anothrr issue ive noticed over the past few weeks(back wheels are cambering inward at the tops). So i changed out the back wheels because the were wearing badly and the right rear was stop sign shaped on the inside of tire as well(flat spots....think stop sign shape all the way around). After tire change....issue seemed to go away.

Now im hearing a ungodly loud and horribly violent vibration from the rear driver wheel(recently replaced as well). When i start driving its fine. When i hit 25-35 itll start the vibration/noise. Progressivly getting louder with speed. At 40-55 its unbearable loud. Hit 60-70 and its quiet again. Upon acceleration or steady driving it seems quiet but let off gas and start deaccelerating and it starts back up with the noise and vibration.

One thing ive noticed is merging right, turning right or hitting on/off ramps that bank right.....it completly silent and rides like its supposed to. Now doing the opposite...leftward lane changes, merging, turns etc......its loud as ****. Was told i have bad shocks and thats my problem solver. Thought wheel bearing but was told itll do it whether im driving straight or turning either way. Which it doesnt. I need to know what it is before i go ordering shocks and it dont change a damn thing.

Also, when turning left from a dead stop....it almost feels like the *** end is "floating" or "swaying" a bit. Turning right its fine...just hooks and drives. And dont know if its a related issue but since the vibration has gotten so bad....it killed the bass in my radio(stock bose symphony setup). Stereo works fine and bumps good as **** when i start my day but as soon as the vibrate starts....the speakers kinda pop and the bass literally disappears.

Please guys....any and all input, feedback, advice etc is desperatly needed. Thanks to all in advance

A speed dependent howling is often the sign of a bad wheel bearing. A bad wheel bearing will be louder when turning the outside line. If you suspect the left rear wheel bearing is bad, it should be louder when turning right and quieter when turning left.

Lift the car and grab the suspect wheel at opposing sides and check for play. The wheel should not have any side to side play. Give it a spin and listen for excess noise in the bearings.

You say the car is quiet when turning right though, which would lead me to believe it is the right rear wheel bearing that needs to be replaced.
