Sick car.. I'm diappointed in the low numbers from a T28, I was hoping I can pull 300 from it.

What kind of 60' do you pull with you car? Ever try and stutterbox or anti-lag setups for launches? I think thats the 1st Audi i've seen in the 10s thats streetable.

Back to my car, can a boost controller need to be installed? I went WOT a few times today and the car has been running excellent other than the loose WG arm.

Thanks to both of you for your help so far. I've made a few posts on the Vortex forums and got a bunch of newbies that knew less than me or no replys at all.

I used the anti-lag on my old tune(80 less hp) to pull 1.5's, new tune I have pulled 1.5's without the anti-lag but I do plan on trying it again at some point.

A EBC works great with the T28 or larger turbos in the A4.

Since my car has an old chip (1.0 Bar) can I install a boost controller to pick up a few PSI?

Yes but you migh not like how the car drives at part throttle with a boost controller.

Car has been running great. I've had a greddy type s sitting in the garage for a while now so I bought and adapter and put it on the Audi. After it was installed the boost dropped to about 10 psi. Made sure all the fitting and recirculation hose was tight and went for another ride. Same thing boost is much lower. I then put the stock one back on and it runs 14 again. Any idea why the car would do that?

Thanks,
Mike

It must not be staying fully closed, did you increase the spring tension with the nut on top?

Yea, first I tried it with both springs in and adjusted the nut and I kept getting compressor surge. Removed a spring and adjusted the tension and got it pretty good but it was still boosting low.

I guess I'm going to buy a forge or something else. Any reccomendations?

All of the piston type bpv's work well. I have used both of the GFB Hybrid and FX stealth, the Evoms valve also works very well with its round bottom valve design.

Since I got some good info from 2 guys in this thread I'll ask another question about a problem i'm having. A few posts up I mentioned about my WG arm rattling. It got to the point that not its constantly open and dumps all boost. I reached behind the turbo and I can move the arm open and closed. Is this because the nut came looks or is there a problem with the actuator? I'm used to running an external gat and have not had too much experience on the internal. I'd like to know what I have to look forward to once I remove the turbo.

Thanks
