Default Quattro trans fluid

I've been searching and can't seem to find what fluid to use? I have access to alldata and it says to use 75w 90 but that is gear oil and doesn't seem right to me.. Can anyone back that up? I'm just looking for some fluid I can pick up at autozone and top the trans off with. The axle seal has a very, very slow leak if you can even call it that. But I'm pretty sure I'm low cause the tranny slips a little bit if I get on it. Thanks.

tip takes Pentosyn fluid, or Audi OEM.
Not gonna find it at pepboys and be prepared to shell out about 16 dollars a quart.
Also putting fluid in is a bit tricky as there is no dipstick. You need to have the car perfectly level, with the transmission slightly warm, either once around the block or check the temp with a vagcom and fill until it starts to leak out.
