Default A question about buying new springs...

So on awetuning.com they have I think the H&R race springs and sport springs. I know they lower your car but does it stiffen it up at all? I don't think I would have money for new shocks just springs. Any input here? Or other ideas on springs?

The ride will be stiffer with lowering springs. That's about all I know.

obviously the ride will be stiffer, you can hold out on new shocks and buy some new one's anytime you want

Okay good. I hate this sedan suspension. Owning a mini Cooper for a 2nd car just makes it feel worse lol.

H&R are the best springs i know of for the 1.8 ebach's ride very rough and stiff but handle very well and tein spring are great too

Just understand that you will blow your shocks if you put on lowering springs...they aren't meant for those springs and will give out. Save your duckets and just get a kit...honestly.

Okay I will buy a whole kit. And Andrew I have the factory suspension on my mini. It handles great. My brother has a 1.8t gti stock. But it def handles better. But a gti is good.
