If you're not willing to experiment and search around for DIY/online instructions and/or ask people online I'd say go for the ESC pre-labeled kit.

I'm sure there are several people that had done this over on this forum plus there are several DIY posted online. So if you're interested and have the time to do this, I'd suggest go this route and save that $50 for a good steak dinner.

It would take a little more time but figuring out what wire goes where is easy with a voltmeter and a little patience. I can tell you that the beige wires were ground. For the rest of them, go through one by one and check. First turn the parking lights on, and see which wire is hot and mark it. Then turn the low beams on, go through the remaining wires and see which one is hot, mark it. Same goes for the high beams and fog lights. With a little time and patience you can use the process of elimination to figure out which wire goes where.

Don't worry too much about screwing up, its not the end of the world. Its not like you're going to fry the ballasts or something, you might just have to change some wires around. When I did mine, I got all turned around doing the re-wiring because I was in a hurry. When I got everything all connected and flicked on the headlights, the driver's side high beam came on instead of the low beam lol.

I did the 2pc to 1pc back over the winter at a buddys shop... i bought the depo one piece chrome and i bought the wiring harness with it, i put the headlights and the harnesses in the same order and when the ECS box was in my room i opened it and both the harness and headlights were there.

I suck and hate wiring so i figured i might as well get the harness. they came labeled which was sooo helpful and the whole process took 2-3 hours and that was with the install of HIDs.
