Default Question about wheels

All that I know about the wheels for the B5 is that they're supposed to be a 5x112 bolt pattern 35mm offset and a 57.1 hub bore. I'm not really a wheel aficionado but I saw some bbs replicas with a +40 offset and a 66.6 hub bore. Would I have to buy spacers or something to make them fit or can i just bolt em on?

Get a set of 5mm spacers with integrated hubcentric rings that adapt from 66.6mm to 57.1mm and you'll be set.

Yeah that offset shouldn't be a problem. I have OEM 17" Celebrations and the offset on those is 42 IIRC. Spacers/hub rings to go from 66.6 to 57.1 are readily available and shouldn't cost you more than $100 or so for 4 of them.

Good on you for doing the maintenance first. Too many "ZOMG WANT MOAR HORSEPOWERZ FART CAN EXHAUST AIR INTAKE LESS THAN $100" threads around here lately...
