hi, does anyone know what's the difference between central locking pumps below? Visually they look the same, so I thought those should work on my 98.5 B5. Currently I have 8L0862257N. Any thoughts or experiences about different models central locking pumps in their cars?

Only the parts guys at the dealers could tell you what the different part numbers mean. Some have interior monitoring, some have alarms (some countries don't) different year models ect.
