Quick stupid question..

how do you know if your 2.8 is a 30v..?

"5v" will be on the engine covers. If it's a 99 and above, definitely. The change was mid 1998. So obviously 97 is 12v.

Wow, mine says 5v 2001, so I do have a 30v.. why is it so slow >.>

^ Actually, stock for stock, the 30v has more power; just a microscopic set of options to lift that number so the I4's can increase power a lot easier, albeit a lot cheaper, than the V6.
