Default race gas question

im running apr stage 2 93 octane tune on my 01 a4 1.8t and i was wondering if there would be any damage done running 104 octane when i take it to the drag strip once a week if that and make about 4 passes.

no but id be more worried about your clutch. my buddy used to only fill his B5 S4 with 102 because one of the gas stations near us had it for some reason

You will see absolutely no gain from doing that, if not a negative one. Your car is tuned for 93.

YOu will actually end up making less power if your 93 tune is not alread pulling huge amounts of timing back. Only thing it might help with is if you have massive heat soak issues by the time you reach 3rd and 4th gear. Other then that dont expect your car to run faster on 104 octane then on 93 octane if your running a 93 tune. The 104 octane race gas burns much slower which allows for way more timing to used.

If your going to try this you might want to run the car with 93, then add in a few gallons of 104 instead of running stright 104.

Total photo shoot for that company. I just hope they cleaned out that can very well before doing that.
