Hello,

I have a 98 a4 2.8 quattro with 160K miles, my rack had been leaking so I purchased a rebuilt ZF rack without the strut as my local Audi dealer indicated it was the correct one for my vin. Wrong. I recieved the replacment part as advertized, pulled my leaking rack out only to find it HAS the strut. The strut cannot be moved to the replacement.

If I install the replacement will I be causing an issue?
