Question Radio issue, not very common :-/

This is soo weird i am not sure if anyone would have an answer to this but i'd like to ask anyways...
So today i left a Pepsi in the cup holder and after a few hours i found out that it exploded in the cup holder and it got some on the area of the radio not too much just the outside and mostly near the gear area and ect.. but anyways after that i drove home and i parked the car when i turn off the car the radio doesnt go off automatically like it did before, i manually turned it off , i tried it again a few hours later... same thing i have to start the radio manually... any idea's what is going on here?

Thanks

probably a small residue of soda shorting out the power switch. may clear up after it dries more, but may need taken apart and cleaned.

thats very strange tho like it happned as the soda got over it, i mean like honestly it didnt seem like it got in it that deep its just from the outside, but i guess i will let it dry and see how it goes. i was just wondering if there was any other issues and needed a reset, maybe it was a coincidence that it happned at the same time...

Just a coincidence, my buddies A4 currently does that and he never even puts drinks in his car. Not to mention the hundreds of radios i sent to Panasonic to have them fixed for it.

Quick interjection haha, I do laptop and other circuit repairs/surface mount soldering, and general hardware diag for a certain company...

Soda doesn't dry, it just gets worse. haha, the water base of it will eventually go away, you're left with all the sugary sticky crap that will haunt you forever unless taken apart and cleaned with alcohol :\
