Default random psi on stock set up.

hey guys,
Well a while back i ended up getting the audi tt boost controller, intake, exhaust and an APR dv. i know this isn't going to make me have a monster sleeper or anything but when i did a while back i was near 10 or 11 psi . Ended up dropping to about 7 after a found a leak and re patched that up.. Now with in the last few weeks i have had it going from 9psi to a 5 psi to 8 to 10 , etc.

It seems like at anytime it decides to just stop boosting anywhere. Anyways! it is very inconsistent, any idea's? could my turbo or waste gate be going? oh yea, i am creeping at 216k miles BUT i have maintained her well.

If by boost controller you mean the n75 I'd suspect that. If its going on the fritz it would explain the random on/off boost control you're seeing.

That's what I was thinking. Try putting your stock N75 back in and see if it smooths things out.

yes i do apologize it is the N75. Was talking to someone earlier about it and got boost controller stuck in the head . I have tried a few gauges and all read the same. The N75 is barely 4 months old and is an oem part for the TT. I will look into that a bit more, is there a way to test it?

thanks guys

Only way to test it that I can think of is swap in a different one and see if it helps. Might be able to do an output test or log measuring blocks on it if you have access to Vag com, but I don't know the procedure for that off the top of my head.
