The C-Clamp method works good for doing the front

Good to know, which direction would you have to turn the piston and about how far would you go in before turning it??

It needs to be turned while its being compressed, not one then the other. The retractor tool from AutoZone takes all the guess work out of it, just put that sumbitch on there and turn it until you can't turn it anymore.

Alternating turn and compress worked fine for me. I have yet to have any problems.
