Rebuilding my rear suspension this spring. Got two pairs of bushings (number 4 below) for the bottom of the hub carriers. Yesterday I put in one new one in the vice. Squeezed right in. The one on the opposite side stopped at about 1/8 of an inch. Same on a bearing press. Tried one from the other pair, same problem. Finally banged it in with a 6 pound BFH.


What I did I do wrong? I've pressed a few bearings/bushings so I have some clue what I'm doing.
