"rear lower control arm" question
Hello the camp!
I just learned from my local dealer that my rear lower control arms are frozen with rust ('98 A41.8TQS, mine since new, quarter million+ miles). The rear wheels' toe are out of spec, but the only online help I can find is all about the rear lower control arms at the front of the car.
I can find no info on rear lower control arms at the trailing end of the car; even the Haynes book is silent on the subject. Can anyone point me to some DIY on ***-end alignment?

Chances are the joints and bushings are shot. I would order new ones from someone like www.fcpeuro.com, replace them, and then have an alignment done.
Thanks, but that doesn't answer my question. I'm not looking for where to find parts, I'm looking for a how-to on installing the parts once they arrive. For some unknown reason, both the Haynes and Bentley manuals are silent on the rear axle's lower control arms. (Although Bentley does have a couple of drawings.)
