The harness you bought

looks like it's missing one piece which connects to the 20 pin OEM connector that looks like this

which is the harness that holds your pre amp wiring to your rear amp/speakers. You can either order the missing piece that looks like this

which has the pre amps already wired up or you can hack into your OEM wiring harness that looks like this

and call it a day. Up to you. Either way works but the aftermarket harness is much neater as I hate messing up OEM wiring. You could always buy some thin crimp ends that you could insert into the appropriate slots but there is always a chance of something being pulled out or bent when inserting or removing the deck. Good luck.

i think his is right, it looks like the scosche model though.

idk if that antenna adapter will fit though. i cant find one that fits my car with the blue wire, cuz my reception sux so i figured that would be the solution. none with the wire are the correct end to fit the factory antenna.

edit: nvm i found them they're just twice as much as the ones without the wire.

Default Audi A4 B7 2007 OEM AMP issue

Hello, I upgraded my oem deck to a hyzpo ( nav android etc..) everything fine until I notice no sound on the rear speakers ( I have a non bose with factory amp and subwoofer) so... I start reading ( A LOT!!) and found that I have to connect the RCA from the Radio to the REAR Line in ( the radio comes with the harness) so now I got sound! great! but it is too low... so I keep reading and found that I have to connect the remote power for the factory amp, on this thread it mentioned that it is the white cable to the blue wire on the deck, so I tested checked the voltages etc. but the factory amp is not turning on... I checked the factory radio put the fader to the back and that works perfect. now the questions are

1) where is the factory amp located ( this is on the trunk passenger side OR inside the rear door on the drivers side??)

2) are we really sure that the amp is turned on by a remote +12v signal and not by some can-bus magic?

Here are some photos of the connectors I have

All I have for you is that my amplifier is mounted on the Driver's side (left) of the trunk, hung off the ceiling of the trunk (from memory).

Good luck.

Actually that is not true on my Audi A4 2007 By 2.0 it is on the passenger side inside the carpet cover. like beside the fuel door but inside.

So back to the topic in my case I tested and the white wire is connected to the amp and actually powering it, but I got low volumne, so just connected the rear speakers to the amp, and play with the fader on the head unit. I got nice decent volumne. and good quality too

The blue remote wire from your aftermarket wire harness has to be connected that is the power for the factory amp your supposed to connect it to the remote wire on your aftermarket radio mines is connected to the red power wire still gives me no problems the

Have a read through this thread from a couple days ago and post up any specific questions. Did you buy a wiring harness or did you cut the OEM connector and hard wire it when you installed your new deck?
