Question Remote Key Question

So this is what happened.

I change the batteries of my remote key and they stop working. Everything is right, battery type and installation.

It says on the manual that if it happens there is something called "remote key re-synchronization" But they explain the whole thing with one sentence and I am having some trouble with understanding it. Can anyone please guide me through the right steps if possible. Or should I take it to Audi dealer?!

Thanks in advance!!!

Same thing happened to me today! Mine started working after I inserted the key in the door from the outside and turned the key to lock and unlock.

yeah just use your key to lock or unlock the doors and then press the opposite button you used on the remote. Ex: use key to unlock the door, lock with remote.

Thank you all...I've tried all of those and unfortunately none of those options worked. There is a 8 step synchronization that I found somewhere online but for that I have to have 2 keys and I only have one

Audi will do it and I am going there today in few hours. I got a quote for around 47.85 plus tax.

While you're there, get a valet key made.
