Default remus exhaust set-up

so i'm getting ready to purchase my exhaust set-up.. what i'm goin with is a remus can and then i am having a shop pipe the system from the cat... my question is what diameter pipe should i have him use... 2 or 2.5?? i dont have much on my car dealing with power besides an LLtek intake so i dont know if i will drown the car with a bigger diameter pipe than i need... i will not be doin any other power mods to this car besides chip in the next few months cause i'm savin for my b7 s4 right now but i'm getting really excited about the new growl so if anyone has some input on the situation i would love it.. thanks guys!

i would suggest 2.5" piping and a resonator in between the cat and the muffler....

Keep the stock 2.5" piping. Honestly if theres nothing with the pipes then it's gonna be a waste of money. Remove the heavy, restrictive mid resonator though. You can just put in a straight pipe if you don't mind the interior drone. Or do like I did and use a smaller, lighter, freeflowing res. Got mine from Vibrant. Resonator or straight pipe it'll sound sick. I find myself flooring it or downshifting hard just to listen to the exhaust.
