Replacement of Oil Cooler Hoses?
I have an 8 year old Audi a4 1.8T. with about 89,000 miles. Went in for the 90k maintainence and they said I needed to replace oil cooler hoses due to leaking antifreeze.
The cost $525!!
FYI I' always kept up on the maintainence.
Looking for thoughts on if this is a decent price and is this something that should be done considering the number of years and mileage.
Thanks!

These hoses arecheap, less than $10 a piece from ECS Tuning.

You should be able to handle it yourself, but you'll need to drain the coolant and then fill her back up when you're finished. If someone is asking over $500 to do this job ask them to show you exactly what they're doing for that kind of money.

How many liters of coolant? Likely all of them.
If you haven't changed out your coolant in a while, get two bottles of g12, a couple gallons of distilled H20 and just replace everything when you do your hoses. Cant hurt.
