Default replacement valves

I was wondering what the differences are between the sodium filled and non sodium filled valves... its a chicks car (1.8t jetta) and its totally stock and will never be modded or driven hard (raced). TB went and bent all exhaust valves and 4 intake valves. We took out the head this morning.

ecs has sodium and non and ive been doing reading on both... seems a lot of people go with an upgrade but they're all modded cars.

what about the kind with with a Nitride coating?

thanks guys, this is a tight budget thing on a commuter car.

If it's a stock car used for commuting, your best option is to go with OE replacement valves. Sodium filled valves cool the valve and transfer heat to the head better than a solid or hollow valve. If that's what's stock, stick with it to avoid valvetrain issues.
