Replacing new hydraulic lifter

Replacing new hydraulic lifter
Been searching online forever and cant seem to find an answer to my question.
I have a severe engine ticking (diesal sound) and was told it was my lifter clogged up.
I want to replace it , so i know the faulty lifter is on the drivers side of the engine.
My question is what are all of the parts required to replace a lifter (lifters, gaskets, lube)
and do i just order one lifter or all 12?

Thanks

RE: Replacing new hydraulic lifter
I would listen to the engine a lot more carefully, it has a larger chance of being the hydraulic cam adjuster rather than the lifters. First though, check the oil pressure and make sure thats all square.
If thats good then i would buy the tensioner from www.ecstuning.com, you should also buy the cam seal gasket and VC gasket.
