Just got my first audi today! It's a 1996 A4 Quattro 5sp 2.8. It has a cel but it came on after subs were hooked up according to previous owner. I plugged my obd2 in and i got 1-2-3-4-5- Err. It usually goes 1-2-3- then gives the codes... Got it knowing there was lifter tick. Prevoius owner said it was common and to run Lucas oil Stabilizer... Put that in still ticks... Also when i took the oil cap off it was smoking... any suggestions... he said he just replaced the oil with full synthetic. 5.45 quarts... how many quarts do these cars require? The car also hesitates sometimes when starting. it'll have to turn over for awhile and sometime it'll start then die. but then turn over again and fires right up
