Replacing seat
airbags are awesome. my friends put one under a 40 gallon drum filled with water and set it off... flew a couple feet in the air. cant imagine what that would be like going off 8 inches from my face.
just a side note. alot of the time you put aftermarket seats in these cars, you have to alter part of the rails under the seat to get it to fit. by doing this alteration you will not be able to simply install an OEM seat again whenever you want, it will have to be modified to fit again. you will see what i mean when you go to install it.

ANYTIME you mess with an airbag connector, do two things. First disconnect the battery. Second, before you touch the connector, ground yourself for several seconds by touching the frame of the car. This will help to discharge static electricity that, in some instances, could detonate the bag. Even better would be to get a grounding strap and cord at an electronics shop so that you're grounded the whole time you mess with it. It may seem like overkill, and it probably is, but you'll wish you did it if the bag blows. Don't f*ck around when it comes to airbags.
