Replacing Side Marker Lights?

Lightbulb Replacing Side Marker Lights?

i wanna replace my side markers but im not exactly sure how they come off or anything? Do i have to do any wiring or any mods? i Just want to change them from the orange to the clear ones on my 1998 audi a4. Pics if possible please

they just pop right off. use a small flat head screwdriver. no wires or anythin

pry off from the from there are small tabs....use a flathead screwdiver

The tab is at the back of the light - nearest the doors. I would put a piece of masking or painter's tape along the rear edge of the light before trying to pop it off, just to be sure to avoid scratching the paint (yes, I learned that lesson the hard way). Just push a flat head screwdriver in underneath the rear edge of the light to release the clip, and it should pop right out.

The cool part is, you don't even have to re-wire - when I put my smoked markers on, the factory bulb holders fit right into them. Took about 30 seconds to swap each side!

exactly what i wanted! thanks a lot should look sweet! suggest anywhere to get them online?

some quick advice that helped me when i was trying to get mine of...use a credit card to get to the tab on the markers...it is more flexible and probably less likely to mess with your paint...plus its just the right size. That is what i used when i took mine off and sprayed them

Agreed with trevor303 - use a credit card and not a screwdriver. Way less risk of damage to the car. And on my car, the tabs were at the leading edge, not the rear edge.
