Default Replacing Third Brake Light

Never done this before so I am a bit hesitant.

One of the bulbs burned out and I've been wanting to replace it.

Would I have to take off the whole rear panel or is there an easier access?
I was gonna try to take off the whole housing but I didn't want to break anything.

Anyone had done this before?

Thanks in advance.

no way man. If you look on top of the back deck on the plastic thing that covers the third brake light bulb, there are little textured patches on either side. Squeeze them together and yank that sonofabitch outta there. lol.

Thanks. Just did it earlier.

Basically the cover slides right off (pull it off sideway towards you if you're pulling from the backseat).

Right after the cover slides off, there are two screws that hold the back piece. Unscrew the screws and the back piece should come right off with the 4 lights attached to it.

I'm not sure if other years are different but that's how you do it for the 2001.5.

Once again, thanks!
