Default Rim Centercaps?

Hi,

Does anybody know of anywhere that carries centercaps for the 1999 7-spoke sports rim that don't cost $40+/per? It seems to be a very difficult part to find and when I do come across them they are super expensive... The rims look terrible with no centercaps, but not $160 bad... Would Shokan be worth a shot?

Thanks!!

EDIT - upon further research, the cheapest I can find it $22.99/per... Still a bit more than I care to spend, especially considering entire sets go for less than that for newer Audis...

Part #: 893601171

I've been looking for the same center caps for awhile now, I have mine but they are kinda beat up. I still haven't found them for less than $50, and nobody wants to take them off their wheels to sell them. I hope you have better luck than I do

eBay. Type that part # in and 3 come up. They are used however. I bet if you search eBay for the rims you'd have you'd be able to find more.

I bought the eBay caps for my car recently and although they looked perfect, the clips and inner tension rings were ****, so they didn't snap in like they were supposed to.They just fell out. They wouldn't grab at all.

If you order these eBay caps and you have this same problem, swap the inner ring with your stock rings (after you stretch you stock rings out just a little bit) and then gently heat each clip. They'll extend out enough to grab as they should.

The caps listed on eBay are OEM. Searched by the OEM part number.

I know the caps he is talking about, I got them last time and just glued them to the original metal clip as the original caps were scratched... They worked for awhile until I had to get new tires and the shop broke them to balance the wheels.. -.-

Anyway, this happened back in December and it's finally nice enough out to fix them and I managed to lose the metal clips so now I can't get the cheaper caps and glue them...

I'll update if I find anything!
