Default Royal Purple Oil?

Well it would appear my audi is due for its first oil change under my ownership. Would like to treat it right and buy some good stuff. Hurd a lot of good stuff about Royal purple. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions ??

I looked at it too but my b6 1.8t says it needs to met vw spec 0502 etc and couldn't find any info on the bottle to match up.

Personally i think its a waste of money. I think its utterly useless, if i were you id just stick to mobil 1 or lubro moly oils. I personally prefer lubro moly. You wong see or notice any difference if you use purple or mobil 1.
