Only 1 reason, to spin the tires. Quattro = Traction.

Yes, once you plug it back in the light will turn off and beeping will go away.

If you wanna spin tire buy a Mustang or somethin, seems a shame to cannibalize a perfectly sexy Audi for that.

Welding and removing driveshaft in order to make something good bad, is 'cannibalizing' your audi.

The super thin rear axles are not designed to push a 3200+ lbs car, so dont expect them to last very long if trying to use it as a daily driver, trying to spin the tires all the time to impress the 16 year old girls or using the car for drifting. The only reason the rear axles last as long as they do is because there are 2 tires up front pulling the car forward at the same time.

Ok thats completely different. Just unplug the ABS harness plug right under the hood.
