I'm about do a swap of interiors with black S4 power seats, I currently have manual seats though. Wondering if the seats are self contained and a 12v and ground will be enough for them to be fully functional OR they have a relay/control module somewhere.

Another quickie: are the heated seat connectors the same 2001 as 1997 ?

you can do it your just gonna haft to convert the harnesses the only trick part would be the air bags

 

Should be easy because I have no side airbags (S4 seats have them though so they will just be non functionnal) and the only wires under my stock seats are the heated seats and a seatbelt sensor on the driver seat.
