Default S4 sway bars the same??

Are the S4 (B5) sway bars the same as the A4 sport? I see a listing on CL for the rear sway bar from an S4, and wanted to know if it is an upgrade to the A4.... I searched around but didn't find a solid answer.

Thanks!

yeah they will do your car a bit of good its not gonna be a major upgrade cause the stock sport suspension is great but i think the s4 sways are like a inch and ours is half a inch

Wow, I can't really imagine that the A4 would be .5" (12.7 mm) and the S4 be 1" (25.4mm)..... Thanks though!

Anyone else? Mostly interested in the rear sway bar size differences, if it's worth changing out..... facts only please

hes asking about swaybars, not springs.
both swaybars on a sport a4 and on an S4 are the same size.
