Default SAI system delete

Anybody here taken out their secondary air system. Mine's been acting up, and I want to run intake and intercooler piping through the area anyways. Any way that I can get the CEL deleted?

You can but if you have any sort of emissions component (ECU code scan) in your inspection, you'll fail. Search feature will turn up a bunch of info on who sells a kit to delete it.

Things you'll need:
-A tuned ECU with the SAI codes removed... I got mine from k0mpressed
-Integrated Engineering SAI blockoff plate or similar
-A couple of large fender washers with a ~2" bolt and nut that fit between them
-Some sort of sealant, be it silicone adhesive, RTV, epoxy, etc.

Steps:
-Install tuned ECU
-Remove your kombi valve and everything connected to it and put the blockoff plate right on the engine block.
-Pull the SAI line from your airbox
-Put one washer on the inside and one on the outside of the new hole in the airbox and bolt them together
-Seal around the washer on the outside with RTV/whatever
-Remove the actual SAI pump (optional but recommended) - it's at the lower right just behind your front bumper
-Reroute vacuum lines around the SAI solenoid under the intake manifold (for 1.8s, anyway... not sure where it is for 2.8s) - my vaccum setup is attached.

Offhand do you know which companies offer the delete? I don't have much to gain with a chip on my 30v but I wouldn't mind deleting the system altogether before it has an issue.

Unitronic does it for some years. Actually, they do it for 2001, so OP can use them.

Yes I do. I sell the IE block off plate and have a few of them sitting right here. The ones I have are the older ones that are not anodized.

Yes Unitronics does offer removing the SAI code on their tunes.

Does GIAC offer the SAI delete or a test pipe file?
