Scroll SP51X turbo! Pics inside!
So my housemate and I had a fun weekend, the K03 went out in this 98 1.8t, so instead of spending 800ish dollars on a BW K03 we got a Scroll SP51X hybrid K04!

Install went quite smoothly, the only real problem we had was having to go buy an allen key for the turbo support bracket. All of my metric allen keys are on 3/8"s sockets and that wouldn't fit between the bracket and the frame, so we had to get regular keys. One tip I would give for removing the stock turbo is to unbolt the oil return line from the oil pan and snake it out with the turbo. It was really hard to try to unbolt it from the turbo with it still in the engine bay.
Turbo is nice and strong and make a nice spool up noise.
My housemate is really happy with it already and he hasn't gotten close to its full potential. He's still running the ARP stage 1 ecu and stock injectors and intercooler. Hopefully at some point he can get a proper tune, and really see what this little guy can do.
Although an odd thing happened a few days after we got it back together, all of a sudden the other day his headlights, turn signals, wipers, fog lights, and climate control dont work. None of it comes on, and we cant find any blown fuses. Any chance we messed something up electrically on install? What do you guys think could cause this? bad turn signal stalk? relay?

We'll take a look at the ignition switch tomorrow. If it's not too bad to remove we can swap the one from my car in.
Audisaurus: No, unfortunately I don't have a Ford SVT car... yet. Post-college I can totally see myself picking up a 2003 Cobra. (If I find a job, that is)
