i have the same issue but im pretty sure its just a issue with the EGR system. just pull the line and clean it out with some WD-40.

i did it to my car at 98k, it gave off a huge amount of smoke and the CEL was on for a few miles. it then got much better.
i did it every 10k miles since and it only gives off a little smoke and the car has been running better then new.

Well I seafoamed my car a few months back but the smoke from the seafoam builds up along with your regular smoke and will pull that code. EGR insufficient flow. So I dont know how much it actually helped my car

It has nothing to do with seafoam. It just failed (or close to). Unless you did seafoam wrong, kinda thing

Nope I did it right, and right amount. But whatever I'm just gonna clean it if no sucess ill just replace it. And I'm not saying the seafoam caused it I just think it didnt help the problem haha.
