I just picked up a 2001 A4 Avant manual 1.8T, and although I'm loving the car, I'm not a big fan of the vinyl seats (I traded it for a 2001 A6 Avant with full leather and power seats, but not so great on gas). Has anyone traded the real leather power seats from a B6 model... are the rails the same. I figure I could probably hook up the airbags and power...

You would have to weld in new runners but it has been done.

 

alot of the b5 did come with leather seats ya know lol. i'd personally get the s4 2 tone sports seat but they are more expensive. the s4 seats should be a direct swap with welding anything but you might lose some of the options on the seats but that's just electrical and can be taken cared of

 

Thanks for the help... I'll look for some S4 or leather B5... I did find some from a 2.8, but they had no airbag.

try lkq in stockton california ask for glen, i asked him if he had amy leather forme the other day and he said he had a full set. i cant get them cause i dont have the cash for them
