The SAIP on my 01 1.8QT Avant (160K miles) runs at start-up for about a minute, shuts down, then comes on at seemingly random intervals for about the same amount of time and shuts down again, even after the motor is @ full operating temp. This is relatively new occurrence.
I've read that some folks say this is normal, others say could be a bad relay. Any thoughts?

The pump should go on for about 60 seconds, and sometimes it goes back on again for like 5-10 seconds. It shouldn't go back on again after that, even if you have a CEL like me for SAI system. Maybe its a bad relay.
