Default Shock Absorbers

Hi,

I need to change both shock absorbers in the rear and only one coil spring. Is it wise to just go and buy pre-assemble Shock Absorber kits for both sides?

Something like this set [URL="http://seekpart24.com/monroe/shock-absorber-5550005?c=100121&at=9059"]

Or is it ok just to change what needs to be changed? Can you get them cheaper?

Thanks

Get springs too. I'm betting that your one spring is broken at the base of the coil. Your other will probably break too. Do it all at once and be done with it.

I'm the devil and I have seen lots of rear spring fails so if one is broken, you definetly better off changing both sets

If you have spring compressors and are familiar with changing springs, I'd highly suggest finding a set of OEM S4 springs and installing them. I've had them in the past and they are really great. Go to the B5 section on audifreaks.net and check the sticky post at the top for my rundown on them.
