Shock or control arm issue?

Well, it could be the shock itself, but I was thinking it was a mounting-related issue. Aftermarket shocks are not perfect, either. Even great brands like Koni can fail.

Well, I was planning on keeping my Eibach springs and getting some Bilsteins eventually. If it still knocks when I get them, then I'll know it's not the shocks lol.

I doubt it would be a control arm. You would notice the noise more often if it were. Especially going over bumps. Plus, braking would only help stabilize a control arm, not make it worse.
